American rapper Eminem is to launch a satellite music radio channel called Shade 45 later this month.
On 28 October Shade 45 will broadcast its first programme - a live concert from New York.
Eminem, his Shady Records label, Interscope Records and Sirius Satellite Radio Inc indicated in July that they would launch the channel, but they did not confirm a date until now.
The new channel will feature a full line-up of hip-hop music, stars and song mixers.
Sirius recently signed controversial shock jock Howard Stern, to a five-year, $500m contract.
Satellite radio is subscription-based and free from government restrictions on the content it airs.
