Andie MacDowell and Olivia Williams ('The Sixth Sense') have been cast in the big screen adaptation of Maeve Binchy's best-selling book 'Tara Road'.
Variety reports that the film will be directed by Gillies MacKinnon ('Pure', 'Hideous Kinky'), who has also adapted the screenplay with Shane Connaughton, scriptwriter of 'My Left Foot' and 'The Playboys'.
The film tells the story of how the lives of an American woman and an Irishwoman change when they take part in a house swap.
Production on the film is set to begin on 18 October.
