'Friends' star Matthew Perry is set to make his directorial debut on and star in an episode of hit medical comedy 'Scrubs'.
Variety reports that Perry will play a man who is willing to donate a kidney to his father, but complications then arise.
Perry's father, actor John Perry, will also play his onscreen father in the episode, which is set to shoot in the first week of November.
Former 'ER' star Julianna Margulies is also set to appear in two upcoming episodes of 'Scrubs'.
