The full list of nominations for this year's Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTA) has been announced.
Man About Dog' heads up the nominations, being listed in 10 different categories. 'Adam and Paul' has been shortlisted for eight awards, while 'Inside I'm Dancing' and 'Timbuktu' have each received seven nominations.
The nominees for Best Irish Film are 'Adam and Paul', 'Blind Flight', 'Inside I'm Dancing', 'Man About Dog' and 'Omagh'. Up for the award of Best Film Director this year are Lenny Abrahamson ('Adam and Paul'), Damien O'Donnell ('Inside I'm Dancing'), Paddy Breathnach ('Man About Dog'), Pete Travis ('Omagh') and Alan Gilsenan ('Timbuktu').
Shortlisted in the Best Actor category are Tom Murphy ('Adam and Paul'), Colin Farrell ('A Home at the End of the World'), Karl Shiels ('Capital Letters'), Stephen Rea ('The Halo Effect') and Gerard McSorley ('Omagh').
The nominees for Best Actress are Eva Birthistle (for both 'Ae Fond Kiss' and 'Timbuktu'), Louise Lewis ('Adam and Paul'), Brenda Fricker ('Inside I'm Dancing') and Michèle Forbes ('Omagh').
In television, the nominations for Best TV Drama are 'The Clinic', 'Holy Cross', 'Proof', 'The Return Sally' and 'Ros na Rún'. 'Primetime', 'The Des Bishop Work Experience', 'The Panel', 'Show Me The Money', 'The Restaurant', Leárgas, 'Scope', 'Sattitude' and 'ID+' have also been shortlisted for television awards.

There are a total of 26 categories in this year's Irish Film and Television Awards, which will take place on 30 October.
