PR consultant Max Clifford has confirmed that Brian and Kerry McFadden's relationship is in trouble due to work pressures.
Due to their conflicting careers, the 'I'm A Celebrity...' star and former Westlife singer have not been able to spend time together over the last year.
Brian McFadden left Westlife earlier this year to spend more time with his wife and children but the success of his new solo career has meant a lot of travelling on promotional tours.
According to PA News, Brian McFadden returned from Scandinavia yesterday to spend time with his children.
Clifford, who represents the couple, said that everyone close to the pair was hoping they would be able to work through their differences.
The couple married in 2001 and have two children, three-year-old Molly and 18-month-old Lily Sue.
