'Troy' star Eric Bana is to play the lead role in 'Lucky You', the new film from '8 Mile' and 'LA Confidential' director Curtis Hanson.
Variety reports the film follows the fortunes of professional poker player Huck Cheever in Las Vegas.
The film is based on a screenplay by Oscar-winning writer Eric Roth ('Forrest Gump') and production is due to start early next year.
Bana's other credits include 'Hulk', 'Black Hawk Down' and 'Chopper' and he is also set to star in Steven Spielberg's planned film of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre, 'Vengeance'.
