An auction of items from singer Johnny Cash's estate has taken $1.24m on its first day.
Collectors paid up to 15 times the expected sale price for items, with bidders including friends of the late country legend and museums.
Cash's guitar, which had been expected to sell for between $10,000 and $20,000, sold for $131,200.
The auction continues until Thursday, with proceeds going to the Cash estate.
