RTÉ and Screentime ShinAwiL, the makers of the 'You're A Star' talent search show, yesterday announced that the series would return for a third year.

The programme is looking for ambitious Irish musical hopefuls to audition this autumn for their chance at a career in the music industry and to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest next May in the Ukraine.

RTÉ 2FM presenter Dave Fanning, IMRO Deputy Chairperson Barbara Galavan and singer-songwriter Hazel Kaneswaran are the new judges while Ray D'Arcy will return to present the show once again.

Following the enormous popularity of the previous two series', 'You're A Star' will again take the headline slot on RTÉ every Sunday night for 17 weeks starting in November.
