Britney Spears has recorded a version of Bobby Brown's 1988 hit 'My Prerogative'.
MTV.com reports that the song will be the first single off Spears' Greatest Hits album, called 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative', which is due out on 16 November.
It is reported that Spears' cover bears little resemblance to the original; the song has been produced by Christian 'Bloodshy' Carlsson and Pontus Avant, the Swedish duo who worked with the singer on 'Toxic'.
'My Prerogative' will be issued to US radio stations on 14 September.
