RTÉ Television has announced the appointment of Sheila de Courcy to the post of Commissioning Editor, Young People's Programmes, effective immediately.
Commenting on the appointment, Clare Duignan, Director of Programmes, Television paid tribute to de Courcy's passion, creativity and enthusiasm.
De Courcy joined RTÉ in 1986 and has worked in the Drama, News & Current Affairs and Young People's departments; she most recently devised and developed the Teen Soap project.
