Rachel Weisz is to star opposite Hugh Jackman in 'The Fountain', the new sci-fi movie from 'Requiem for a Dream' director Darren Aronofsky.
The Hollywood Reporter says that much of the plot remains secret, but the story follows a man's journey in the present and 500 years into the past and future.
Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett were originally linked with the lead roles.
Jackman was most recently seen on Irish cinema screens in the action movie 'Van Helsing', while Weisz will next be seen in the comedy 'Envy', it opens on 10 September.
