Orlando Bloom will play a young James Bond in a new film about the secret agent's college days, according to reports.
The Evening Standard yesterday said that the British actor has signed up with Miramax to star in the film.
It is to focus on Bond's college days after he gets expelled from Eton.
Bloom recently appeared on Irish screens in 'Troy' and is currently working on Cameron Crowe's 'Elizabethtown' with Kirsten Dunst and Susan Sarandon.
