Matt Damon is in talks to star opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in director Martin Scorsese's new crime drama 'The Departed'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that 'The Departed' is a remake of the hit Hong Kong gangster film 'Infernal Affairs'.
It tells the story of a gangster (the role marked for Damon) who infiltrates the Boston police department and a police officer (DiCaprio) who is undercover inside the city's Irish-American criminal gangs.
Damon will next be seen on Irish screens in 'The Bourne Supremacy'; it opens on 13 August.
