The 'Big Brother' housemates have ended their silent protest against the show's producers after their plan for revenge backfired.
After almost a full day of silence the housemates eventually gave in yesterday evening and entered the diary room with a white flag. Producers had reacted to the protest by playing the sounds of babies crying, car horns and road works into the house.
They also took Stuart's coveted cowboy hat and set it alight in the garden, while the housemates watched on the plasma screen in the living room.
In retaliation, Michelle entered the diary room, unplugged the camera and took it out to the garden, where she arranged a bundle of straw around it and took out a box of matches. However, she then returned to the house without starting the fire.
Her action prompted Big Brother producers to issue a first and final warning to Michelle for the act of vandalism. Should she break house rules again she will be evicted. Nadia, Shell and Stuart were also given formal warnings for their involvement.
Becki and Ahmed have been nominated to face the public vote this week and will find out tonight who will be evicted from the house.
