The Waterboys have announced that they will play a series of Irish dates on their first ever fully acoustic tour.
Led by guitarist, songwriter and singer Mike Scott, this Waterboys tour features Irish fiddler Steve Wickham and English pianist Richard Naiff.
In 2000 'A Rock In The Weary Land' marked the band's first release in seven years.
They returned with 2003's àcclaimed 'Universal Hall', an album recorded at the Findhorn Community in Scotland.
The Waterboys classic album 'This Is The Sea' was re-issued last month by Chrysalis/EMI in a special double CD package with a whole CD of rare and previously unissued music.
Shows will be divided into two halves with an intermission. There will be no support and tickets cost from €30.
