'Lord of the Rings' star Andy Serkis is to reunite with director Peter Jackson for his remake of 'King Kong'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Serkis, who brought Gollum to life in the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, will provide the motion capture references for Kong; the character will then be created using CGI.
Serkis will also play the role of Lumpy, the ship's cook, in the film.
'King Kong' also stars Naomi Watts and Jack Black.
