New Zealand singer-songwriter Bic Runga returns to Ireland in September for a nationwide tour cumulating in a show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre.

Runga, New Zealand's most successful female solo artist, sold out two shows at The Village in March.

She will release a second single, 'Something Good', from her 'Beautiful Collision' album in June. Her first single, 'Get Some Sleep', received widespread radio play in Ireland.

The 26-year-old, who is of Chinese and Maori descent, has been a star in New Zealand since her teens, releasing her self-produced debut album 'Drive' in 1998 when she was just 21.

The following year Runga released her second album, the six times platinum 'Beautiful Collision'.

This April she won four Tui Awards in New Zealand including Best Producer, Best Female Artist and Best Solo Artist.

Tickets are on sale now for all Runga's Irish dates from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
