Irish actor Brendan Gleeson has joined the cast of the fourth Harry Potter film, 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'.
Harry Potter producer David Heyman told CBBC's Newsround programme that Gleeson would play Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher Mad Eye Moody, with 'Rising Damp' star Frances de la Tour cast as Madame Maxine, the Headmistress of the French wizarding school Beauxbatons.
'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' is due for worldwide release in November 2005.
The new Harry Potter film, 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban', opens in Irish cinemas on 31 May.
