The Ukraine has won this year's Eurovision song contest with 280 points. It is the first time the country has won the competition. Ruslana won the competition for her country with 'Wild Dances'.
It was the 49th year of the popular competition which saw Turkey hosting the event.
Ireland was hoping for success with a song penned by former Westlife singer Bryan McFadden and Jonathan Shorten.
If My World Stopped Turning was sung by 24-year-old Chris Doran. Unfortunately he was placed second last.
