Gilliam lines up next film project

It is reported that 'The Fisher King' director Terry Gilliam will begin shooting a new film, 'Tideland', on 7 September in Canada.

Variety reports that the film is based on the novel by Mitch Cullin and tells the story of a girl from Texas who escapes from her tough life into a world of fantasy.

On her adventures, she is accompanied by four dolls' heads, which Variety says will be voiced by well-known actors.

Gilliam is currently working on 'The Brothers Grimm', starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger.
