Macy Gray will return to Ireland for the first time since 2000's sold-out concert in the Point Theatre with an intimate show in Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Tuesday 6 July.
Gray's distinctive raspy vocals first made an impact with the release of her debut album 'On How Life Is' in 1999, winning a Grammy Award for the hit single 'I Try'.
Her second album, 'The Id', featured guest appearances by Erykah Badu and the Red Hot Chili Peppers' John Frusciante.
In 2002 Gray appeared as herself in the film 'Spider-Man', and guested on Santana's album 'Shaman'.
'The Trouble With Being Myself', her third album, was released in 2003.
Tickets, priced €44.50 and €49.50, will go on sale this Friday, 14 May.
