Cinema Ireland, a season of Irish feature and short films, will be screened at the end of May in Beijing and in June as part of the Shanghai International Film Festival.
The opening film will be Jim Sheridan's Oscar-nominated 'In America'.
These screenings are part of a larger festival of Irish arts and culture taking place in both cities, which forms one half of a major cultural exchange programme between Ireland and China.
Other feature films that will be screened include 'Michael Collins', 'Bloody Sunday' and 'Into the West' as well as documentaries ('The Revolution Will Not Be Televised') and short films ('Thirty Five Aside', 'Yu Ming Is Ainm Dom').
