Irish animators win $1.6m contract

Boulder Media, an Irish animation company based in the Digital Hub in Dublin, has won a contract worth in the region of $1.6m to animate a new series for the Cartoon Network.

The series will be called 'Foster's Homes for Imaginary Friends' and will be seen by a potential audience of over 80m people.

The Cartoon Network is part-owned by Warner Brothers.

Alan Quigley and Robert Cullen founded Boulder Media just four years ago. The company currently employs 27 people.
