Action legend Jackie Chan has commenced work as a UN goodwill ambassador.
Chan is visiting AIDS patients and land mine victims in Cambodia as part of a three-day trip to the country.
UNICEF and UNAIDS, which co-ordinates the UN's efforts to fight HIV and AIDS, hope that Chan's popularity will raise awareness in Asia.
Speaking at a news conference in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh, Chan said: "Let me know whatever I can do. Wherever I can go, I promise you, I'll do it."
