Hip-hop star Lil' Kim has pleaded not guilty to charges that she lied to a grand jury investigating a shooting outside a New York radio station.
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, is charged with one count of conspiracy, three counts of perjury, three counts of making false statements and one count of obstruction.
The charges relate to an incident involving the singer's entourage outside a Manhattan radio station in February 2001 in which one man was shot and 22 bullets fired.
Lil' Kim and a friend were indicted for lying to the grand jury about their knowledge of the gunmen and motive behind the incident; two men were indicted for firing guns during the incident.
