Shock rocker Alice Cooper will return to Ireland for the first time in ten years as part of the Green Energy Festival over the June Bank Holiday weekend.
Cooper will play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Friday 4 June.
Cooper, originally known as Vincent Damon Furnier, pioneered a theatrical and violent type of heavy metal in the early Seventies and has continued to record and tour for the last thirty years with hits including 'Poison', 'No More Mr Nice Guy' and 'Brutal Planet'.
He released a new album, 'The Eyes of Alice Cooper' in 2003.
Tickets, priced €49.50, are on sale now from the Olympia box office and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
