Actress Debra Stephenson, who recently starred in the ITV series 'Bad Girls', is joining the cast of Coronation Street.
Stephenson will play Frankie Baldwin, the feisty wife of new character Danny.
Danny, played by Bradley Walsh, is Mike Baldwin's long-lost nephew and will arrive on the Street in June to invest in Mike's underwear business.
A show insider says Frankie makes an instant impression and is set to clash with factory girl Karen MacDonald.
