George Harrison, Prince and ZZ Top were among the musicians inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York on Monday.

Bob Seger, Jackson Browne, Traffic and The Dells were also honoured at the annual ceremony.

Harrison, who died of cancer in 2001, joins John Lennon and Paul McCartney as Beatles also inducted as solo artists.

Harrison's son Dhani performed his fathers song 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' with ex-Travelling Wilburys Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne.
