The Doors have announced a show at Dublin's Point Theatre for Monday 12 July.
Original keyboardist Ray Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger decided to revive the Doors as a live band, enlisting longtime Cult frontman Ian Astbury on lead vocals.
The band have been touring around the world since early 2003, playing to 20,000 capacity sell-out crowds.
Manzarek believes the band to be "playing with the same energy, intensity and passion that we had in the sixties and seventies and I think we're approximating that quite well, thank you. It would be great if Jim was here but he's not, so this is what you get in the 21st Century."
Tickets for the show are priced €49 and will go on sale on Friday 27 February at 9.30am from outlets nationwide.
