With the final episode of 'Sex and the City' due to air on US television this Sunday, it is reported that the hit series is now bound for cinema screens.
Variety says that series writer, director and executive producer Michael Patrick King is writing a script for a film version of the hit show which he would direct.
Cable channel HBO is reported to be in the process of making deals with stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall for the film.
There is no start date for the movie but King is expected to finish his script in May.
