Rapper Snoop Dogg is in talks to star opposite Adam Sandler in a remake of the 1974 film 'The Longest Yard'.
MTV.com reports that production is set to begin in June and that Snoop Dogg is in discussions for a major part.
'The Longest Yard' tells the story of a former quarterback (Sandler) who is sent to prison and sets up a match between guards and inmates.
The original starred Burt Reynolds and was also remade as 'The Mean Machine', starring Vinnie Jones.
Snoop Dogg will next be seen in Irish cinemas as Huggy Bear in the big screen version of 'Starsky & Hutch'; it opens on 12 March.
