Homme and Oliveri - Partnership ends

Bassist Nick Oliveri has left Queens of the Stone Age.

Oliveri and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme's musical partnership dated back to their time in the seminal Kyuss in the early 1990s.

Queens of the Stone Age are due to go into the studio this spring to record the follow-up to their acclaimed album 'Songs for the Deaf'.
