Rare and previously unheard songs from Bob Marley's early years are to be officially released for the first time.
Universal records have bought the rights to 211 tracks from a reggae label.
They were recorded between 1967 and 1972 - before Marley found global fame, and include six previously unreleased songs, with the possibility of more being discovered.
Marley, who died in 1981, became a reggae legend with album sales of more than 17 million around the world.
Many of the songs had only previously been released on unofficial albums - with no royalties going to the musicians or their families
