Cork band Waiting Room will release their new album, 'Catering For Headphones', in February on Limerick/Cork-based independent label Out On A Limb Records.

The three-piece formed only three years ago and quickly released their debut album, 'Losing Patience'.

Since then, the band, whose influences now include Mogwai and Fugazi, have become a more experimental outfit.

The shift from their earlier material will be seen in 'Catering for Headphones' which also marks their return to the live circuit.

The album tour will take in dates across the country, before Waiting Room leaves for the UK at the end of February.
