Playwright Martin McDonagh is among the nominees for this year's Laurence Olivier Awards in the UK.
McDonagh is nominated in the Best New Play category for 'The Pillowman' along with Michael Frayn ('Democracy'), Kwame Kwei-Armah ('Elmina's Kitchen') and Terry Johnson ('Hitchcock Blonde').
Belfast-born actor Kenneth Branagh makes the Best Actor shortlist for 'Edmond' while TV presenter Matthew Kelly is nominated for his performance in 'Of Mice and Men'.
Among the Best Actress nominees are Helen Mirren for 'Mourning Becomes Electra' and Kristin Scott Thomas for 'Three Sisters'.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 22 February.
