Actor Harrison Ford and screenwriter Melissa Mathison have ended their 18- year marriage.
The uncontested divorce was finalised in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday.
The couple met in 1976 while she was working as an assistant on the set of 'Apocalypse Now'.
Mathison, 53, went on to become a successful screenwriter, earning an Oscar nomination for 'ET'.
The couple separated in 2000 and hoped to work out their differences but Mathison filed for legal separation in 2001, seeking custody of their two teenage children.
Custody arrangements under the divorce were not disclosed in the court documents.
For the past two years, the Indiana Jones star, who is 61, has been dating former 'Ally McBeal' star Calista Flockhart .
