Jennifer Lopez has made a TV public service message urging Americans to register to vote.
Us Weekly magazine reports that Lopez taped the ad on 12 December in New York and that it will debut during the Super Bowl broadcast in the US in January.
The ad is to run on MTV next year up until the US presidential election in November.
Us Weekly says that Lopez registered to vote via the Rock the Vote website on the day she recorded the ad.
