Radiohead to take over BBC station

Radiohead are to become the bosses of the BBC's digital station 6 Music for a week over Christmas.

The quintet will co-present shows, act as guests and choose music on the station between 22 and 28 December in a venture titled 'The 6 Music Selector'.

Each member of the band will also help organise a day's programming on the station, giving listeners a greater insight into their tastes and influences.

6 Music programme editor John Sugar said it would be exciting for the station's listeners to see what Radiohead would do with "this creative freedom".
