Victim is suing Girls Aloud singer

The toilet attendant assaulted by Cheryl Tweedy is launching a civil action against the singer.

Tweedy received a £3,000 fine and 120 hours community service after she was found guilty of assault, causing harm after a two-week trial at Kingston Crown Court in London.

Tweedy punched the toilet attendant after Mrs Amogbokpa tried to stop her taking some lollipops, but argued that she was punched first.

Now Sophie Amogbokpa has launched a civil action on the grounds that the attack was racially motivated.
