The work of Johnny Cash has been honoured with three posthumous awards at the Country Music Awards in the US.Cash, who died in September, won Album of the Year ('American IV: The Man Comes Around'), Single of the Year ('Hurt') and Video of the Year ('Hurt').He was the subject of a musical tribute during the show featuring renditions of his songs by Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Sheryl Crow and Hank Williams Jr.Speaking backstage as he held the three awards, Cash's son, John Carter Cash said: "To the very end, he always stayed true to what he believed was right. This is not just about the music. It's about who he was as a human."
