50 Cent's rap group G-Unit will offer fans the chance to win a $12,500 diamond medallion when their album is released next month.
The LA Times reports that five 'golden tickets' will be hidden in the first 500,000 copies of 'Beg for Mercy' and that the medallion is of the G-Unit logo.
The move follows similar promotions by the likes of Puddle of Mudd and Obie Trice and is seen as a way of building excitement around album releases and encouraging fans to buy rather than download.
'Beg for Mercy' is in the shops on 18 November.
