U2 are to donate about €40,000 to the One in Four organisation to enable it to continue operating.
Earlier this week, the founder of One in Four, Colm O'Gorman, announced that he will have to shut it down because it had failed to secure additional State funding.
He said that protective notice had been issued to staff.
It is estimated that the U2 money will enable One in Four to continue in existence for another month.
