Actress Nicole Kidman has accepted undisclosed libel damages in the High Court in London over a newspaper article alleging she had an adulterous affair with actor Jude Law.
The article was published in The Sun newspaper in March. The Sun agreed to publish an apology and pay Ms Kidman a sum in damages. It's understood the damages will go to charity.
Afterwards 37-year-old Kidman who starred with Law in Cold Mountain, said she was glad the matter had finally been resolved.
