'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star Alyson Hannigan has inked a deal with US network NBC to star in her own comedy series.
The Hollywood Reporter says that her half-hour show would debut on US TV in the autumn of next year.
She will also have a recurring role in the next series of 'That '70s Show', playing a recruit at the police academy where Ashton Kutcher's character Kelso is studying.
Hannigan was last seen on Irish cinema screens in 'American Pie: The Wedding'.
