'Legally Blonde' star Reese Witherspoon is developing and plans to star in a remake of Otto Preminger's 1965 film 'Bunny Lake Is Missing'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the original movie starred Noel Coward and Laurence Olivier and told the story of a young girl who is reported missing by her mother.
But police find no trace that the girl ever existed and wonder whether the mother is insane.
Witherspoon recently completed work on 'Vanity Fair' and is set to play June Carter Cash in the Johnny Cash biopic 'Walk the Line'.
