Rock singer Robert Palmer has died of a heart attack in Paris. He was 54.
Palmer, whose hits included 'Some Guys Have All the Luck', 'Addicted to Love' and 'Simply Irresistible', was in Paris on a two-day break with his partner, Mary Ambrose.
He travelled to the city after recording a TV appearance in the UK.
He was en route to Switzerland, where he had been living for the past 16 years.
Palmer released his acclaimed new album, 'Drive', earlier this year.
