Ryan Adams' new album 'Rock 'n' Roll' is due for release on 31 October.
'Rock 'n' Roll' is the official follow-up to 2001's 'Gold' although Adams released 'Demolition', a collection of demos, last September.
An earlier album, 'Love Is Hell', had been expected in early spring 2003 but was allegedly turned down by his record label, Lost Highway, because it was too depressing.
Produced by James Barber and John Porter, 'Rock 'n' Roll' features guest appearances from Billie Joe Armstrong, Melissa Auf Der Mar and actress Parker Posey.
According to his official website, Adams will release 'Love Is Hell' as two EPs later this year.
