Former Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is to give a multi-media performance of his poetry at an event in Chicago next week.
Rolling Stone reports that Corgan's performance will mark the start of the Poetry Centre of Chicago's 31st annual Reading Series.
It is also reported that Corgan has been in talks with publishers about his forthcoming poetry book.
Earlier this year he released the debut album by his new band, Zwan.
