The Irish Film Institute (formerly the IFC) will hold an Open Day on Saturday 20 September at the IFI in Temple Bar.
The annual day-long free event celebrates cinema history by screening a selection of classic films.
This year the IFI will screen ten comedies; each film will be preceded by one of Bord Scannan na h’Eireann’s Short Shorts.
All screenings are free and tickets (limited to two per person per film), can only be collected on the day.
The box-office will open at 10am and tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
