Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have postponed their wedding, citing the media frenzy surrounding their plans.
In a joint statement issued yesterday, the couple said: "when we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate 'decoy brides' at three different locations, we realised that something was awry."
They said that what they felt should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoilt for them, their friends and families.
It had been reported that the stars planned to marry on Sunday in California and that 400 guests had been invited by telephone, with further details to arrive four days before the wedding.
